CCND Tour of the Simeone
Foundation Museum
Saturday, Feb 27th
Want an up-close look at one of only 5 original 1963 Corvette Grand
Sports? Better yet, want to see it started and driven, and
learn all about its history? Oh, and while we're at it, how
about one of the extremely rare 1964 Cobra Daytona Coupes?
You may have seen where one of these recently went for nearly $8
million at Mecum's auction!
Well, if so, plan on attending the
February 27 "One Man's Vision" Demonstration Day at the critically
acclaimed Simeone Foundation Museum. http://www.simeonefoundation.org/
The museum features over 60 rare sports and racing cars ranging
from a 1909 American Underslung to an awesome 1970 Porsche 917
LH. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for "seniors" and $8 for
kids. Plus, if we can guarantee ten or more attendees, the
fee maxes out at $10.
We'll meet at 9:15 at the Hollywood
Grill on Concord Pike and leave at 9:30 sharp for the short cruise
to the museum.
Sign up at the February meeting or
call Marion Crank at 302-235-2628. Any questions about the
actual event other than sign-up please call Fred Krumm at
610-459-0957
