CCND Show Information
The
Corvette Club of Northern Delaware holds four
major shows a year plus a monthly Cruise
Night
Two of those shows are CCND-only exhibition shows at the Concord Mall in Wilmington, Delaware. During these shows we display an average of 25 CCND club member cars inside the Mall.
These shows are held every Spring and Fall. The Spring show is always on Father's Day and the Fall show is usually at or around the last Sunday in October.
Our other show of the year is our annual Corvette only show open to all Corvette owners. CCND member cars are not entered into this show although there is a separate participants judging of the CCND members cars during the event.
This show is held in the beginning or middle of October every year.
The location for the 2007 show was the Iron Hill Brewery Restaurant on the Christiana Waterfront in Wilmington, DE.
A new show for CCND held for the first time in 2007 is the annual Corvettes for Chip charity show with proceeds going to the:
Chip Miller Charitable Foundation.
Proceeds from all shows go to charity.
Both Concord Mall show proceeds go to the Adopt-A-Family charity, along with proceeds from other club activities such as the 50-50 raffles during each monthly meeting and other fund-raising events.
The proceeds from each annual open Corvette show go to a different chosen charity each year. As examples, the last three years the charities included the Veteran Adm. (Vettes for Vets show), The Delaware Humane Society (Vettes for Pets show), the ALS Association (Vettes for ALS show).
The charity for the 2007 show was "Our Lady of Grace Orphanage".
The proceeds of the Corvettes for Chip show go to the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation
