I enjoy traveling with my wife Lynn, whether it is by land, sea or air.  Cruise ships are a favorite but going to different events, shows or destinations in our 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette is the best!  It really has been a way of life; meeting and making friends with so many Corvette people from all over just can't be beat.

Another favorite activity of mine is performance boating. I enjoy participating in Poker Runs & Fun Runs.

Harvey Smith has been the club treasurer since 1995.

He and his wife Alice own the second oldest car in the club, a 1956 Venetian Red Corvette with Shoreline Beige coves and red interior. The car has a 265 cubic-inch engine with two four-barrel carburetors.

Harvey is the co-owner of the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes in New Castle, Newark, and Delaware City. He is also an active volunteer with the Odessa Fire Company, and served as the company's Deputy Chief for several years.

Harvey and Alice live in the historic town of Odessa. They also enjoy their summer home on the Delaware Bay in Lewes

I have been happily married for 32 years and have three children ages 21, 23, and 24.

Being a member of CCND has brought many exciting activities and lasting friendships.

Gardening is a favorite pastime as well as volunteering at the hospital and nursing homes.

Fred has been with CCND about as long as he has owned a Vette -- since 2005.

He works as a management consultant (when projects are available) and is an
avid golfer and tennis player.

Fred strongly supports the mission of CCND to have fun with our Vettes while
supporting a variety of deserving local charities. He likes to think his
"portrait" covers those bases...

My husband, Larry, and I, have been members of CCND for about three years. We have three grown children and two grandchildren.

I got my first Corvette when I was 57. My husband, Larry, already had his Corvette (a 1957) for almost two years. He made the mistake of asking me what I wanted for my birthday. I told him that since it would be my 57th birthday a '57 Corvette would be really nice.
Well, I got one... although it didn't look anything like I thought it should! Matter of fact it was so bad the guy Larry bought it from had brought it from a junk yard.

After eight months of sanding, scraping, patching, and everything else the car needed done to it, Larry had my car (I did help too!) ready for it's first car show. We painted her Cascade Green to match Larry's car. Our cars are now well known in the local area as the "His & Her" matching Corvettes or sometimes just "The Twins".
It's really hard to believe how much I enjoy cleaning her and showing her at shows. I got my first trophy and since than I've been hooked.

I have been car enthusiast for as long as I can remember, and a member of CCND since 1993.

My wife Patty and I have been married since 1972 and have one child, Rob, who lives in Kennett Sq Pa with his wife Carrie and daughter Ryleah.

Although Patty does not share the same passion for cars as I do, she enjoys the social aspect of the club and is involved with many of the charity events.

My life beyond CCND revolves around golf, photography, and of course our granddaughter.

I currently have a 1966 Mosport Green Roadster 427ci / 425hp and a 1964 Impala SS 409. They are enjoyable cars for very different reasons.

I became interested in cars at an early age, especially GM products, since my father and uncles all worked in the auto trade.  My first exposure to a Corvette was at the GM Autorama on the Atlantic City Steele Pier at 9 years of age.   From that day on I was infatuated with The Car!  I finally purchased my first Corvette 2 years ago after retiring from New Castle County and Delaware Air Guard.

My interests range from traveling to photography, sports, reading and home projects.   I love a good car show and visiting auto museums while traveling.

The Club gives me the opportunity to not only socialize with people with a common interest, but also to get involved with contributing to charitable causes.

I enjoy reading, working on my cars and spending time with my family.

We currently own a 2001 White Corvette Coupe with a red interior.

We have 2 children, Alex (23) and Kacie (22).  Donna and I have been married for 29 years.  We have 4 cats and reside in Southeastern Chester County.

I was the past President of CCND from 2007 through 2010 and loved the opportunity to assist our club.

I work in Wilmington, Delaware and enjoy hunting, fishing and travelling.

I've been a car enthusiast since I was 12 and got my first car, a 1969 Austin Healy, but have always loved Corvettes most of all.

My wife Linda and I acquired our first Corvette in March of 2004. It is a 1965 coupe and was in very nice condition when we purchased it but we worked hard to improve areas we weren't happy with.

We joined CCND in May of 2004.

In Feb. 2006 we acquired our second Corvette, a 1978 that only had 9,400 miles on it. Even with the low milage on the '78 it had been neglected so Linda and I worked hard to bring the car back to the condition that it should have been in. We happily had both "His and Her" Corvettes in the garage to enjoy.
*We have now sold the 1978 Corvette and are back to only having the 1965.

We live in Newark along with our dog, a Border Collie named Chewie, and two Calico cats, named Millie and Minnie.

My wife and I moved to Delaware in 1977 and immediately joined CCND. We were transferred away from Delaware in 1982 but back in 1988 when we rejoined CCND. We left again in late 1990 and came back for good in 1999. I guess it is logical that I become the first Club Historian since I have been associated with CCND the longest of the current members.

Our “drive” Corvette is a 2002 Z06 that we purchased used with 4000 miles in late 2002. We have a fuel injected 1959 that we purchased in 1974 that just underwent a frame-off restoration. We have received two “top-flight” National Corvette Restorers Society awards since the car was completed in April, 2010.

I have been a “car guy” for as long as I can remember. I am currently restoring a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 that my Dad bought for me in 1967. It’s the car I had when we got married and is like one of the family. The restoration has been a slow process but the car is almost ready to paint and then it is reassembly, reassembly, reassembly.

As we have moved around the country, we have been members in four other Corvette Clubs. I believe CCND is one of the best clubs in the country.
